The issue in this case is that the Democrats appear to have hired another guy named Dan Sullivan to appear on the ballot and his name is actually listed before the incumbent Dan Sullivan.
The random Sullivan ran as a Republican in the primary and got 1.5% of the vote, meaning the vast majority of those people were confused and voted for the wrong Sullivan. It was enough to get him on the general election ballot in fourth place.
Alaska uses ranked choice voting. The question is whether voters will be confused and vote for the wrong Sullivan and/or believe there may be a duplicate Sullivan on the ballot and leave the real Sullivan off when they do their ranked choice.
Exactly. Lawfare it is
This will appear exactly as it seems as an attempt to subvert the will of the people, of whom you've stated above you don't care about, and will only do more to harm Republican elections nation wide. Well done.
The Dems, by putting this guy on the ballot, are the ones who are attempting to subvert the will of the people. They want the Republican majority to split their vote through confusion so their candidate can win.
So don't get all high and mighty about subversion when it's your side that did it first. The lawsuit is just the Republican response to the dirty game the left played.
As a leftist, he doesn't understand what a logical fallacy is. Democrats knowingly and purposely create confusion and chaos and then blame Republicans for responding to it.
