Hakeem, who will be House Speaker, is saying right now what their focus is going to be: impeaching Trump, investigating Republicans, and restoring the few spending cuts that Trump made.

Seriously, we all know this is exactly what the Dems will do for the next two years.

I put the over/under on Trump impeachments at 6.

Well, he's literally saying it so we know it as fact.

No idea who Hamilton is. Some rando in Kansas(?). His personal agenda means nothing.

Wage theft? lol. Sounds as real as the systemic white supremacy problem we had under Biden.

He's running for Senate in Kansas and has incumbent Roger Marshall on the ropes. A real random for sure.

His policies sure are random. Wage theft and modular housing!

I mean there are plenty of other things too.

But right now Republicans are running on, "Give us two more years to maybe fix all the **** we broke after having control of all 3 branches of government".

I'm sure they're going to roll out the massive successful plan to make healthcare more affordable very soon. They just wanted to wait 6 years to makes sure it was perfect.

As opposed to the Democrats? Because healthcare costs are exactly where they are because of the current Democrat-enacted healthcare plan - the PPACA.

What did the Republican Congress break?

That would imply they have actually done something.

Correct. My post even specifically said both parties do it. Your party's voters were naive enough to think Trump would fix it. Some of them still believe it and post it. Yet all he and his fellow Rs have done is expand the DC corruption, bribery, and grift by tenfold.

The GOP defunded USAID. That shut down a TON of corruption, bribery, and grift...

This thread is about the midterms, not Obama. The first two years of Trump's second term have been a dismal record of failure and rampant corruption and destructive economic policies. His numerous failures and his coverup of the Epstein files, which 98% of the GOP Congress supported, are a massive part of the midterm elections.

Ummm...YOUR PARTY under Biden released NONE of the files. WHO covered it up again?

Delusion, man. Killing USAID was the most corrupt thing running in this country and he killed it. Giant money laundering and far left wing funding scheme. How can you ignore that win for America?

Remember...he SUPPORTS the Democrats, so killing USAID is a BAD THING for him...

Yeah it would be silly to ask the current president where his solution to affordable healthcare is that he has promised to unveil for a decade but hasn't.

Obamacare refund checks for $500, Medicare Part B $90 credits, fantastical generational reset on prescription drug pricing. $50 billion investment in rural healthcare.

Before we even get into exposing, ending and in some cases reversing the insane amounts of waste fraud and abuse in Medicare, Medicaid and other health assistance programs.

I don't want to go on for risk of derail, but the wins in the 2nd Trump admin on healthcare have been nothing short of incredible, absolutely impressive

Thank God Donald John Trump and what he has done for the health of our elders and most vulnerable.

Starting to think your comment was either sarcasm or trolling.

None of that while a nice gesture has made any measurable difference on affordable healthcare for this country, including seniors.

For 10 years he has claimed that he has the best plan to replace the ACA that will make healthcare affordable for everyone in this country. He has yet to share any details of this plan/program.

It's another example of why people are turning away from Republicans right now. They have made big promises and failed to deliver on them. People aren't happy with the current state of things and they see Republicans have been in charge for the majority of the last decade.

Republicans/Trump currently stand for big empty promises in a lot of people's eyes.

Fair enough.

But, just remember that the suckage of the healthcare system costs is your side's fault.

Of course, just like this whole "affordability crisis" that y'all are touting that was caused by the Biden administration...as usual...the Democrats cause a ****show and then complain that the GOP hasn't cleaned it up.

Mortgage rates on new mortgages have risen to 7.4%.

Thanks to Trump and the GOP-controlled Congress.

More bad news for Rs in the midterms.

When Trump took office, the mortgage rate was 7.04%. It's now 7.4%

BUT...when Trump took office, the Fed rate was 4.33%, and it's now3.88%.

It's not like when Biden got Inflation from 2% to 9% in 1.5 years...

Performing my community service this morning and watch MTP.

Less than 30 out from the midterms, MTP is low key a softball interview with Al-Sayed, a jerk off of Tom Tillis and his new "book", then another book plug for "Blockers" about how DOGE were big meanies and that the good soldiers in the deep state bureaucracy must be protected, then almost an odd convo with Tom Costello about free speech, and finally some analytics on polling from their panel.

Seems very low energy for being this close to the midterms. And it's not an air of confidence causing the low energy.

Speaking of Islamo-Marxists....A Rasmussen poll last month:

Quote:

Nearly half of likely young voters, 43%, view Islamic Sharia law positively, according to a new poll. However, they are not alone. Significant percentages of voters under 40 hold positive views of Sharia Law.

They include 39% of voters (between 25 and 29); 36% of voters (between 30 and 35); 22% of voters (between 35 and 39) polled.

Time to ban Islam and limit who can vote.

Is the Senate breakdown just for that district? That would make some sense.

Why just posting of polls with no analysis is less than helpful to a discussion.

Folks who present the information should provide some analysis.

Yes it's just a poll result of CD 1 and the house and senate race in that district. It is a party "internal" meant to be released, so take it with a mountain of salt. But, it isnt a statewide race poll.

Can't automatically assume it's good for republicans.

Can't dispute that Musk is crazy talented in certain facets of life, however…..

his political instincts are terrible. He has the charisma level of a tree stump. He's not good with people, and he arrogantly assumed everyone in Wisconsin who wanted free and fair judges were " George Soros plants".

Uhh no….. regular people just don't see it the way a billionaire does and probably never will.
