LMFAO! John Cornyn's "watch party" tonight is TINY
— Nick Sortor (@nicksortor) May 26, 2026
There's only room for about 50 chairs, and the campaign confirms Cornyn will NOT be with supporters tonight, but instead will be hiding and monitoring results "privately."
He KNOWS it's over 🤣

If Talarico would happen to win (I don't think he will), hopefully it sends a message to Texas republicans to not nominate ****ty people.

So is holding your vote and risking something 1000x worse than Paxton stepping out on his wife.
I'm not big on Cornyn by any means. but I will vote for him tomorrow. If Paxton wins, I will hold my nose in November and vote for him. Paxton's negatives are a heck of a lot more than infidelity. He is rotten to the core, through and through.

I think Paxton is worth the risk. Texans know what they are getting with the establishment incumbent and it's time to replace him.
It's safe to say we know what we are getting with both.
They both have a public track record, politically speaking.
And Paxton has clearly proven to put his money where his mouth is in regard to conservative positions and taking action there upon, whereas Cornyn has not.
Cornyn had numerous opportunities to pivot, and wouldn't. He has no one to blame but himself.
I think the longer he stayed in office with the 'Well at least he has a clean image so he'll keep winning' excuse, a Dem was bound to exploit his meekness in defending conservative policies and make him look like Romney.
Paxton massively overperforming his March EV in every county so far. Jefferson went for Cornyn by 1,800 votes in March but goes for Paxton tonight.

Dems loved having a lib in as a Republican. They always went after Cruz's seat. Never Cornyn.
🚨 WOW! NBC's Kornacki is VISIBLY STUNNED at the strength of the MAGA endorsement tonight, Ken Paxton is absolutely "CLOBBERING" John Cornyn

So how does Kalshi compare to poly market?
And are these bets possible in person at a casino? Thanks as I've never wagered on kalshi or polymarket.
ETA Paxton by 6 percent tonight. Don't think the rinos will let it get to 10
With Polymarket sign up add bank account or credit card and start buying or selling. I've had to use a VPN to get around the blockage of betting.

It was Republicans that went after Cornyn's seat this time. Not Democrats.

I do not know why, but I cannot bet on anything politics related on Polymarket.
On Kalshi, I was able to bet on Massie losing and can access a number of other political wagers.

Lots of democrats voting for Paxton.
Why this doesn't bother more republicans in this state, or at least mildly concern them, is bewildering to me.
