Just voted. +1 for Paxton.

I voted for Cornyn this morning because I think Paxton is a POS. If Paxton wins I will hold my nose and vote for him in November because I will never vote for a Dem. I just hope we get someone better to run in 6 years.
Better yet, hope that Paxton does so well that you're amazed despite any personal issues he has had.
I think we will have another scandal pop up with him in the next 6 years. He keeps getting away with things and people like this usually don't learn their lesson. When Trump leaves office he won't have that safeguard.

I think Paxton is worth the risk. Texans know what they are getting with the establishment incumbent and it's time to replace him.
It's safe to say we know what we are getting with both.
They both have a public track record, politically speaking.
And Paxton has clearly proven to put his money where his mouth is in regard to conservative positions and taking action there upon, whereas Cornyn has not.
Not really.
He didn't protect the citizenry from Abbott usurping powers not given, during COVID's stupidity. For that alone, I wouldn't vote for him, if I were voting at all. And Cornyn is a joke.
Either way, Texas gets a PoS as a Senator.
The prediction market thinks Paxton's margin will be better than 9 points. I'm hearing Cornyn will concede by 8:30PM. I'm here at Paxton's watch party.

Which 3 US AGs did a better job with Covid than Paxton?
What should he have done? Who else in the US did that?
The establishment Hates Paxton because he was such a strong advocate for the Tea Party, and that upset the apple cart for Rino texas legislators.

+1 for Cornyn on Day 1 of early voting, plan to be +0 for Paxton come November

As the vote tallies come in tonight, this primary will be another fascinating election vote to follow. Twenty-years ago, the old guard of the GOP ran this state. They still have a substantial base. But their days of running Texas appear to be over.
John Cornyn, one of the very last surviving remnants of the old Reagan - Bush - Cheney faction of Quiet, Calm, Methodical and Reserved-Acting, Mainstream Conservative, Corporate Boardroom, Establishment Republicans.
vs
Ken Paxton, the In Your Face, Brash, Bullying, Alleged Adulterer, No Holds Barred, I Love Corruption and Grifting-In-Plain-Sight, I Only Play Hardball, MAGA Trump GOPer.

I am headed to the polls to vote for Cornyn. I don't think Cornyn wins. I won't vote for Talarico as I have strong enough fingers to hold my nose and vote for Paxton in November. However, I think Talarico will win in November with coattails because Trump can't finish what he started in Iran.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

So how does Kalshi compare to poly market?
And are these bets possible in person at a casino? Thanks as I've never wagered on kalshi or polymarket.
ETA Paxton by 6 percent tonight. Don't think the rinos will let it get to 10
