Yes, That not ensuring election integrity will result in democrats being elected every time.

If you look at recent statewide election results, Cornyn has slightly better numbers. I'm guessing that's because Paxton's baggage has turned off some people. So, logically, Cornyn has a larger margin for error. And I'll tell you one thing………I've got a strong suspicion that Republicans are going to need every last .1% of the vote they can get in the midterms.

I'm a Paxton guy. We need a Texan in the Senate who's not afraid of breaking things (including laws, which he has some experience with) and licking Trump's boots. Looking forward to seeing Paxton do long term damage to Republican control in Austin.

lol. Hate Cornyn but no way a Dem is beating him. I'd put Paxton at 95%. No Dem has won statewide since '94 and it expanded last time against them. Last time they got close was Beto and even with everything going for him and everything going against Cruz he still lost by a couple of points.

Texas is fundamentally about +12 GOP so who is going to make up that difference? It takes an exceptionally bad GOP candidate against an exceptionally good Dem. Maybe if McConaughey runs.

I agree with you but I think you need to have one more variable in your math.

If…….if………the market and purchasing power of the dollar has not recovered in 17 months……….i think things are going to be a bloodbath for Republicans. Perhaps as much as a 2-3 pt swing could easily occur. Then every last .1% could make the difference.

There is no alternative reality where voting Dem ever makes sense. Abstain if the GOP candidate sucks, but voting Dem is significantly worse than just about any other alternative.
