I think it's too easily being just labeled a case of being a "bad QB". When the full body of work is looked at we have a guy that over the last 6ish games he's played has steadily regressed. That stinks of very poor development and coaching. You don't regress like that in any normal situation without poor coaching development and/or an offensive system that doesn't fit the skill set that the QB is not comfortable with.
There's too many factors here for it to just be written off as a case of Marcell is not good. We've seen him good. Really good at times. If he was just bad he would have always been bad. Combine this regression with the mind starts spiraling negatively we are in desperate need of some mentorship to get his mind right.
Simplify things early to get quick positive movement.
Do what he does best, get his legs involved early.
Stop trying to prove he's a 5 step drop back pocket passer.
If Marcell can get his brain moving in the positive direction I think we start to see good Marcell again.
