Except those calls come from overseas, are computer generated, and usually the voice has a heavy foreign (usually Indian) accent, which is why they are deemed not credible.
They almost always target a cluster of schools in a state.
I do not recall there ever being a school shooter who called in a threat and then carried it out shortly thereafter. Besides, why call in a threat, and risk the police already being on site before you have a chance to carry it out?
Then again, maybe the kid called it in himself, hung up the phone, and then started shooting seconds later.
