they gave both sides a ton of time and he was inarticulate in everything he said. judge excused him.
This is not my opinion at all, but I have friends who do not like Blue Lives Matter because they feel as though people who support it universally support all cops no matter what.aggiehawg said:
Why would some people have a problem with Blue Lives Matter?
cause it takes away from that entire bucket of matters and BLM deemed they has the bucketaggiehawg said:

What Good Poster said. Also because BlueLM was created in response to BLM and, in my opinion, is missing the point. BLM isn't saying that cop lives do not matter. Its original intent was to create awareness of police brutality against black people and essentially saying "black lives matter, too." Criticizing police brutality does not mean you think cops' lives are worth less, and those who murdered cops in response are evil.aggiehawg said:

Agreed.Readzilla said:

Glad he's on the jury, too. How many have they seated today? Four or is he the fifth?Readzilla said:

Thanks. Had lost track. Three down, nine to go plus four alternates.Readzilla said:
He is only the Third. That science guy, that one eager girl, and now him
I think the judge made the decision to up the alternates because of fear some members of the jury could test positive for covid during the course of the trial, IIRC.Readzilla said:
I thought it was only 2 alternates? I heard the number 14 thrown out a lot (12 and 2 alternates)

Is this real from the autopsy?

Keep in mind I am talking about what BLM was originally started for, not what it has become in recent years.
Not under the law on third degree murder in Minnesota.Quote:
That said, there is no evidence of premeditation, intent, or racism. A stupid cop choking a handcuffed suspect to death, guilty of 3rd degree murder.
Under Minnesota case law, if the actions causing the death are targeted towards one person and not the public at large, there is no "depraved mind" under the statute.GeorgiAg said:
If he's following the police manual, how could it possibly be depraved mind?

Probably. That would be the same autopsy of a drug addict choked to death in a UFC cage. The difference is MMA fights always get stopped seconds in, not after 8 min. In either case the blood supply to brain is cut off with no deadly bodily damage visible beyond the video of the choke. Maybe some skin abrasions and minor tissue bruising....the same damage could be seen on a living human with choke released before death by cerebral hypoxia.
If you are in the camp that believes Floyd OD'd precisely when being choked, you are not very different from biased OJ supporters rooting for innocence.

Or we know how to read an autopsy report and when the ME says under any other circumstances, he would rule Floyd's death an overdose, that throws his supposition of manner of death as homicide into question.Quote:

you are still pushing that MMA garbage all these months later? impressive.
are you going to tell us again about the pounds of pressure you calculated from watching the video also?
