Other than Luthor as the villain, is there any indication of the movie plot? Because this many superheroes in one movie would suggest an opponent/plan much larger than what Luthor is more famous for in most Superman media.

So it seems this question was actually at least partially answered today, as there are spoiler-ish set pics coming out now, from the same set as yesterday, featuring what looks to be Ultraman (alongside Rick Flag Sr. and The Engineer). No idea if he's the main super-powered bad guy or not, but what we're seeing of his interactions with Superman are pretty interesting (though I won't be posting them here).

Exactly. Those of you who are like WTF clearly aren't around a lot of guys in their late teens through 20's. They all have stupid haircuts. Just be glad Clark Kent doesn't sport a mullet.

A mullet wearing Superman acting like he's not Clark Kent for 100 minutes is a movie I would love to see.YouBet said:FL_Ag1998 said:PatAg said:

A mullet would look better.

So new set footage just dropped (which I won't be posting here) that strongly suggests not only is Krypto the dog in this, but that he does, indeed, have actual super powers.
This movie is going to be so wild.

The lid on that cup he's holding doesn't scream 70s to me. The ladies' jacket certainly does.TCTTS said:

SUPERMAN RETURNS was released 18 years ago today. Yes, the film isn't perfect, but I've always loved the cinematography, the art deco production design, and John Ottman's score. Plus, the teaser trailer still stirs up so many emotions. pic.twitter.com/S615TAG73J

Well, fashion styles do tend to return over timeTCTTS said:
Good catch. And again, the cars are modern as well, though they could be for different scenes/time periods. Or, maybe new DCU is so just completely removed from our own universe, where it's a combination of modern tech with a retro '70s style? Super weird either way...
