Not a fan of that suit. It very much looks like a suit, whereas the MoS one looked more like a second skin.

Not into it, but im sure they rushed this out because they will be doing some outdoor filming or something. Hopefully it looks better on film.

I thought the same thing. It's a really weird image to release all and all. I'm positive even now someone on Reddit is transforming it into Superman doing the walk of shame following a one-night stand and groggily putting his boots on when he notices the alien invasion outside.

That collar looks really uncomfortable.

Ugh.

This feels like Superman Returns all over again.

I was so looking forward to that movie, then the first image finally dropped of Brandon Routh in costume, and it was so bad and so cheesy that so much of my enthusiasm instantly died right then and there.

That said, A) I ended up enjoying that movie more than most (even though I agree that it's a misfire overall), and B) I still have a ton of faith in Gunn.

But man, I'm just not a fan of this suit AT ALL. It's a really, really bad first look. The collar, the overly busy lines, the way it folds and wrinkles as if he's just some cosplayer getting ready for Comic-Con... I don't get it at all.

It looks like a cheap, MCU knockoff, and the MCU costumes already look cheap to begin with.

As someone mentioned earlier, I'm sure this is to get ahead of some imminent outdoor filming, where set pics will no doubt leak. Hopefully it looks better in those, or in action/on film, but this?

This sucks.

I like it. I like the idea of a suit that is supposed to look worn and functional. I'm curious to see it in a scene in the film with lighting.

I do like the worn look. I forgot to mention that. And yeah, I'm not giving up on the suit overall just yet. It could ultimately look way better on film with proper lighting. I'm mainly just reacting to this first look, in particular.

The extra lines, creases, and bulkiness feels very MCU, and it looks cheaper than the Cavill or Hoechlin suits.
