I personally wish Beth would go into Jaime and he finally really snaps and takes her out. Then RIP gets him in the final episode. Just taking out Jaime is beyond boring writing.

I literally just read that and watched a clip to make sure that was sarcasm, as I remember that movie absolutely bombing, and pretty sure Wes Bentley was addicted to heroin at the time.

I've noticed the show refers to the "season" finale, rather than the series finale. It was in tonight's credits as well.

Will watch lioness finale tonight. I guess watch 1923 when it comes out, as that has been my favorite of them all. But no more new shows of his. Heard landman is great but this guy has to be the biggest ego maniac / dbag of all time.

Take it for what it's worth, but I have a friend who's a makeup artist. She's worked on two of Sheridan's shows. Said he's the biggest a-hole she's ever worked with/for and that he and Costner never got along on set. Also said she heard at least two other makeup crews refused to work for Sheridan after their respective seasons ended. She relayed that while her crew was out an evening in Ft. Worth, they met a guy who went to high school with Sheridan and he said he was a huge dbag back then and it seems he's only gotten worse over the years.

I think it's just a workaround for an audience that doesn't know any better. Like something as basic as the car discussion between Beth and Kayce. Texas DMV isn't going to collect sales tax on the sale of a vehicle for "$1". They'll determine a fair market value.

I mean, years ago I bought a truck from my sister for a $1. But there isn't property tax involved with a transaction like that. Only sales tax.

For the sale of a multimillion dollar ranch, it's not about the sales tax, but the property tax & inheritance tax I would think. Which has absolutely nothing to do with the cost at time of purchase.

Previous episode there was talk of the state valuing it super low so they could declare eminent domain....but even so if the state lowers it that much, and a third party buyer wants to buy it....state is still going to pursue eminent domain anyway. Not like they'll say "we valued it at $1M so we could declare eminent domain, but Gil here wants to buy it for $1M so oh well....guess we have to let him buy it and drop our eminent domain claims".

I guess they're just really counting on the viewers to be that dumb.
