That looks good, some neat visuals, although the dialogue samples seem about as humdrum generic fantasy as you can get.

I'm sure they have an army of lawyers on this but if something gets one sentence in the appendixes and 30 pages in the Silmarillion how do you tell what the scene in the show was based on?

He pretty well sums up my feelings on the show. I loved LOTR, my favorite trilogy of all time and by far the best sci-fi movies I have ever seen. This won't be anything near that and is basically just fanfiction made into a series.

Some of those scenes look pretty great. And the dialogue seems a little better than some of the short clips of it we had gotten before.

Anyone know what the black sword that began the materialize in that person's hand was supposed to be?
