Not a coincidence at all, it's the same character. Just shows how deeply entrenched HYDRA was and still is.

If I had to bet, I would say May will die in the midseason finale. No more mystery about what happened in Bahrain and would give the team a little extra motivation for stopping Lash.

I will say that I am not as tired of any of the characters. I think the writers are doing a good job balancing everybody. I also feel like "death of a character" is a bit overrated in tv shows. Just my opinion though.

Hmm, good point about May. I guess it would then fall on the team to either stop or turn Lash?

We have Bobbi, May, Mac, Hunter, Lincoln, Banks (basically Rosalind's Mac), and Rosalind that are somewhat expendable at this point. Oh and Will I guess will make it back from that planet at some point, but other than being a foil for Fitz I don't see what he can do to really add much to the story.

I think that if Bobbi and Hunter end up going off on their own at some point, I think Mac could go along with them leaving Fitz to being in charge of that department again.

Depends how long they will keep Andrew going between forms. Not to mention that Joey ticks not only the hispanic category but gay category as well. Which we may as well ask what is the point of his character when he was introduced into the show in such a prominent way in the season opener and hasn't really been around much since.

They have to kill Will right? I mean, they can't keep torturing Fitz.

I hope they don't kill Ward, but it isn't looking good.

I hope they do kill off ATCU because I don't like the director lady.

Think Daisy crying gif that was teased means that Lincoln peaces out.

If they kill Fitz or Simmons I will riot.

My guess is Lincoln dies... why wouldn't he. His "love story" with Daisy is pretty flimsy and seemingly just setup so she can be sad when he dies. Plus, with the way he attacked Lash... he's showing that he feels above the team... easy to see him not making it for one reason or another.

ATCU has run its course, those people are definitely gone.

Mac is a boring character now and all he does is take up space everywhere he goes... but doubt he's out yet.

I really doubt May is gone. But she and Bobbi are bit redundant.

I really doubt Ward dies. But I'm not necessarily a huge fan of his character. One pet peeve I have with shows is when a villain is allowed to hang around on the show for unnecessarily and inexplicably long. That said, I used to think we'd reached this point with him, but maybe not now. He's been able to carry his side of the story to this point.

Looks like the ATCU is done for with Mrs. Gold and Discount Statham down and out for the count.

Loved this episode and next week looks insane. This season has been such a joy ride so far, I hope they stick the landing next week. I feel like Director Shotgun Axe will not let us down.

Also, another solid Tuesday of Superhero Programming with Flarrow doing their part.

Episode was great. Colson actually choked a ***** (Hunter) too. ATCU is done with Rosalind and Banks being dead.

I'm starting to think that Ward's days might be numbered here. I mean there are only two ways that this can end for him. One, Colson kills Ward. Two, Ward is captured and put in a deep dark hole to rot until the end of time. I guess if he gets stuck on the planet where Will is, that could satisfy option two. Besides, continuing his story after everything that has happened in tonight's episode would be a bit ridiculous, even for him being part of Hydra.

Glad to see that Daisy's team is finally getting to go to work.

I'm not quite sure what they are doing with Bobbi. It seems like they want her and Colson to be at odds, as if she is trying to bring a little rationality to him by her channeling her inner May.

So, what can we expect for the rest of the season? I'm thinking that we will end up finishing the Malick's Hydra story here at the break and it will roll into another Inhuman arc with Hydra being the tool of the guy from the planet.

Poor hunter, he caught **** for trying to kill ward, and risking Andrew's life, and now he's catching **** for not killing ward

I think the point regarding where are the other Inhumans given how the focus of the show is transferring some from Hydra to Inhumans is pretty apt.

that's the point. he would've shot way up into the air, and he didn't deploy his chute.

But the portal doesn't always point the same direction on the planet IIRC. It's location dependent because the one where Simmons and Will tried to shoot that message through the portal to SHIELD was at kind of angle right? So depending on where the portal opened, Coulson may have been going at more of an angle than straight up and then down.

Given his bionic arm you could say that Coulson High Fives are a little far-fetched, too.

That was a good episode. I particularly like how they started with a death rather than ended with it and let it serve as a cliffhanger. Getting to see Coulson rage as a result was particularly fun, and redirecting him to be more Fury like and less amiable works for me. Hunter continues to become more and more a favorite character given his no-questions-asked/willing-to-do-anything approach. He's kinda turning into good-guy Ward from season 1, but with a character. On the other hand, Bobbi continues to be nothing more than pouty eye-candy.

I wasn't much of an X-Files watcher but understand there was a following for the technicians who supported the main duo. I think is part of what they doing with Fitz Simmons. FS are the most interesting characters on the show for me and I hope they never gain any meta abilities.
