What pointed Wayne to believing Tara was going to be killed exactly?

Clay figured out that Tara read the letters and the police report and then told Piney. Clay told Unser he had figured all that out.
Unser knows Clay well enough to know that Clay will kill Tara & Piney to keep them quiet.

30 minutes into the show, Clay checks out the security cams and sees Unser sleeping in his truck, walks up to him, wakes him up, tells him he doesn't want anything happening to him either by the law or by the hands of the club, and that if he (Clay) goes down, Wayne goes down...Unser knows Clay well enough to know he'll do whatever it takes to cover his butt. Right after that is when he goes to the sheriff's office and talks to Roosevelt about Tara

Great episode last night - lots of quality storylines. Between Juice's erratic behavior/questions and the inprobability that Miles stole the blow, Chibs is definitely on to him. I love Jax's curveball to the "rancid gash" at the end.

Same here. When he watched him walk out and beg that both prospects get their 15 minutes to anonymously return the coke he gave Juice that long stare as he walked out. Chibs knows whats up.

And the scene where Tara was doctoring Juice's leg...he seemed to be staring a hole through him then as well.

I also think Chibs has a pretty good idea of what happened. as for Tara/Clay/Unser thing...Jax is going to GO OFF on Clay when he finds out...first Clay puts a hit on Opie that ends up killing Donna, now putting a hit on the VPs old lady and mother of his kid(s). HEEEEEEEELLLL NO

I remembered that Donna dying was part of a hit that went wrong, but I had totally forgotten that Clay had put the hit on Opie! CLAY MUST DIE...he is totally out of control. I wish somehow Unser could enlist Jax and totally turn this on Clay and off him!

I think Gemma will end up killing Clay when it's all said and done. I don't know why; I just have a feeling.

Clay is going no where guys. If/when he dies...the show is done.

Maybe Clay will end up in prison? Clay has had a hand in John Tellers death, Donna's death and now he wants to kill Tara? Gotta be some kind of justice dealt out on this dude...

Would love it and I wouldn't be shocked.

But, as mentioned, the hard part is how do you throw conflict into the club w/o Clay? Jax running the club gets backing from Opie and Bobby for sure and likely Tig. The rest are more minor characters. The show thrives on internal conflict.

To me this is setting up like season 2, tons of internal *****and will end with some big thing that brings the club back together. We'll see though, I hope it's not that obvious.

Read Sutter's blog or the SOA ap on iPhone... He acknowledges that there was a Hamlet influence on the initial premise, but he's said it won't end like Hamlet and that he's not letting Hamlet dictate where the story goes from here. The initial concept of the "prince" being haunted/prodded by a dead father, with a twisted mother/uncle antagonists is all Hamlet inspired as a starting point. But from here on out is anyone's guess.

Also....I can't see the show continuing sans Clay. The entire dynamic of the show would change. Maybe after some of these storylines play out that will change.

they are just making crap up as they go along. this show has no direction whatsoever. if you compare it to other cable dramas currently airing (like breaking bad) it looks even worse.

Last season's final episode was the best episode of the whole series to date (my opinion)....but I can't disagree with you that last season's season was lacking

When I suggested that Gemma kills Clay, I was referring to the final episode of the series, not next week.

If Clay does get offed, I see Unser killing him to keep Gemma from doing it. It'll be a death sentence to anyone who does it outside the club, "Old Ladies" included. Unser is dying of cancer anyways, might as well speed it up.

I share your opinion, although this week's episode was pretty rockin'. That season finale last year was jaw-droppingly awesome

I have two far-fetched ideas on where they may go, but hey it's fun to speculate:

They might be setting up a breakup of the club with Jax, Piney, Opie, Juice and Bobby going one way and the rest of the guys staying put. Maybe not a new club entirely but a splinter SAMCRO.

Tara won't be killed (I think she is too important)...could they end up killing one of Jax's kids on accident when they try for Tara? The guilt, family turmoil and subsequent fallout would be unreal. FX has killed off a kid before. #The Shield (last episode).

I think they'd kill her off before they'll take out Clay.

I didn't think the Sopranos would kill off a few of the people they did either...but it happened.

I would lean more towards a Bobby, Juice, Piney, though before Tara.

I am loving this season. I agree with Griffle, it is fun as hell to speculate.

My SOA deadpool includes: Unser, Piney, Clay, and Juice.

About the 'note' mentioned on the last page, I think it was actually a sample that Juice took from the brick that he's supposed to give to the sheriff.
