90 minute premiere tonight. Can't wait.

I wish i was caught up. I got to the middle of season 2 back in May and haven't had the time to get fully caught up yet. Oh well, it will happen one day.

They don't have to play the last episode of last season for me. That episode is burned into my brain as one of my favorite episodes....of any television series....EVER!!! Loved it.

I've got discs 3-4 of season 3 to finish before tonights premire. It will be done...I just hope Jimmy gets his along w/ McGee (don't spoil it...i'll be home in an hour to finish it)

I watched the first three seasons of SoA before I started watching the Sopranos. They're too similar for me to not make mental comparisons; and honestly SoA isn't even close to being as good. Particularly etched in my head is the scene in which Tony and Chris steal some smuggled goods from some biker gang while laughing in their faces.

Out of loyalty I'll continue to watch, but I wish the show wouldn't take itself so seriously.

Hell yes......putting Little Madams in bed right now.

Can't wait to get this season started.

I love that old Deadwood or The Shield actors keep turning up on SoA or Justified.

I wonder if Lem and Ronnie will have any scenes together this season.

That sure was a badass last 10 minutes

Spent the whole episode thinking "Wow, the SoA are pretty much boned at this point." And then the last 10 minutes blew that theory out of the water.

Also, does anyone else find the US attorney really really creepy? Reminds me of Smecker from Boondock Saints.

I think it's ironic that probably since the show started SAMCRO is in the best position and seemingly on top of the world while at the same time Clay is fading and Jax wants out. Great writing by Sutter continues.

Man...they threw me a major curveball on Otto. I thought he was either tired of being in prison....might have played a part in shiving Jax....etc. When I saw him still alive in the psych ward, I thought it was crazy how they played that out.

Great first episode!!!

Once again though...Wasn't really 90 minutes. Too many commercials!

Can't wait to see where this season goes!

1. Where did Jax's scars come from?
2. Why did Otto kill that guy in the psyche ward for Jax?
3. What was Piney talking about to Tara about the past?
4. Why did they kill the Russians?

1. The scars were from Jax getting shived in prisons by the Russians.
2. Otto shived the guy for shiving Jax
3. I have no idea what you are talking about
4. The SOA killed the Russians #1 for shiving Jax and #2 so they didn't have to share the gun profits with them

This season is going to be ridiculous!

I'm hoping we finally get a good storyline about Jax's dad and what Clay and Gema had to do with the whole thing.

I could see them having that as a major arc leading to a cliffhanger at the end of this season, then using it to wrap up the series next year and go out on a high note (only saying because I've read here and there that they know shows have a shelf life and want to keep it great i.e. The Wire (say what you want about season 5), The Shield, etc.)

Sutter has said several times he wants to take this show a full 7 years.

I hope they don't follow the general outline of Hamlet all the way through the series. That would be a pretty depressing way to end the show and ruins any chance of a happy ending for ANY character. Tara leaves Jax and dies. Jax finds some dudes head that used to make him laugh and talks to it about his personal problems in a cemetery.

Then bloodbath and everyone dies.

Seriously not trying to be a jerk, but do some people not listen to the dialogue? Or do they watch this show while they're doing work on their laptop?

There are some shows that you can do that with (almost all chick shows, Law and Order, etc.) and still enjoy it. But Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire, Justified, SOA, The Shield, etc., can't be watched like that and actually enjoyed. Heck...I had to watch all of last season with Closed Caption due to the irish mumblers.
