The most I've ever gotten out of either of them is that hubby's friend can't explain it, and doesn't want to.

And for those that mentioned... I don't get much sleep. For the last year I've gotten maybe 3-4 hrs a night... Not all consecutive. I pretty much live terrified that something will happen.

This is not a scary story, but a few months back I had a dream where I saw my grandpa, who's been dead for over 10 years. It felt way more real than a dream though, it felt like I was really experiencing it.

I remember feeling an enormous sense of relief and happiness to see him. (He died when I was about 10 and it devastated me.)

I just gave him a big hug and started crying. A few minutes later I woke up and had real tears streaming down my face. Even now just remembering it, my eyes are watering.

I don't know if it was just a dream or not, I suppose it could've been. But for the rest of my life I'll always feel I might have actually made contact with him.

About 8 years ago, I was at a family gathering at my grandma's house (a few years after my grandpa's death), and one of my younger cousins went upstairs by herself (where my grandparents' bedroom was). A few minutes later she came downstairs, walked over to her mom, and said grandpa had a very soothing voice. She was too young to have remembered him. That story is the main reason I think my experience may have been real.

No ghost encounters or anything. But I do have one weird story.

I was watching The Ring on VHS (yes, VHS), and during the middle of the movie it just started rewinding by itself. The remote was on the ground next to the recliner I was sitting in, and I thought maybe I rocked it enough to hit the rewind button. So I picked it up and put it on the middle of the coffee table at least 4 feet away from anyone in the room. A few minutes later it started doing it again. Looking back on it, it's not that scary and there are probably many possible explanations, but given the fact that the VCR never did that before, and the movie I was watching, it was a little scary.

I once was awakened in the middle of the night in my second story bedroom to a sound of buzzing and beeping moving right past my bedroom window at what seemed like very close range (based on how the sound came and passed). The window faced the back of the house in a residential neighborhood.

I’m not a big believer in ghosts or aliens and here is my best explanation of what it was. I happen to know there are DEA agents and equipment at the near-by Hooks airport in unmarked hangers. About two weeks after this happened, I went up into the attic and notice someone left the light on up there for probably months.

The DEA checks for pot growers with infrared sensors and probably suspected I was growing in my attic. I believed they checked me out with some sort of RPV that skimmed the eve sniffing air over a filter (or something like that) to bring back to a drug-sniffing dog.

Or I was visited by tiny aliens. Take your pick.

That's all I got. Well, expect for that whole seeing Jesus thing.
