Matches like this one for lex is why I've been indicating that she will make an immediate impact on the team. We have a very talented and experienced team, but Lexington has been playing. pro tournaments for over a year. The only other recent player to do that before arriving to college for us has been lulu and we know how good she is. i'm not saying lex is Lulu impact but this pro level experience will pay dividends.

I mentioned early that I have not seen Lex play a lot but I was very impressed today, beating a quality opponent.

Really looking forward to the next several years !!

And now watching Mary, in my amateur opinion a completely different style of play. And effective, too!

VERY different style of play. But then Mary has an atypical style of game than most women at her level or higher. Lex is more of a typical style, where she will move you around with ground strokes and win the point at the baseline. will occasionally make her way to net, but opposite of Mary, Lex is not necessarily looking to come to net

A lot of players get worn out when their opponent makes them run back and forth so much but Mary has unlimited energy and still hops and skips for entire matches!

Well I was looking at the Tyler draw now. Mary will now play the winner of Lexington's 1st round main draw match. Bummer. I love all aggie matchups, but only in the finals. tough draw

I had to leave but agree with Chruchie, Lexington I think will make the top 6. Just my uneducated opinion. Enjoyed watching her in doubles. Never had met her doubles partner before.
