Lulu is on track to out do that ranking too, as well as Mia. They both have had amazing summers. I think it's safe to say doubles will be much improved this year
It would be awesome if our NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP WINNING LADIES would be honored at this very first football game!! I wonder when would it be!

they won't because they're all getting back into town. I think they save that for another big game, if i was to pick 1 i'd think it would be the texas game. A&M will want as much success being promoted during that game, and what's better than a national championship!!

Agree on doubles. Jeanette and Nicole meshed at the end of the year. Mia and Mary will only be better. The question is who plays with Lulu.
I know some disagree with me, but I think Ava going to Auburn will be good for us overall.
We need Jeanette playing #6 and a 10.6+ UTR playing #5. The #5 at Stanford and #5 at Georgia are 10.6+. Bottom of the lineup was a struggle until we got Carson back.

This could get interesting. I could see the NCAA changing and wouldn't be surprised to see Joint / Texas draw a hard line in the sand. Accept the money and then challenge any threat to disqualify in court.

that could be something. i also think that Mark and James will play around with doubles pairings. The only lock is M&M @1. That could be the doubles lineup Lexington is a good doubles player, i also think that they might revisit lulu and Nicole and see if that works this time. Jennifer Jackson is also coming in the spring and will have an impact in both doubles and singles lineups. Well wait and see but this is when it starts to get fun!!

I really felt Jeanette and Nicole hit their stride at #3. It would be fun to watch them together for a full season.

Big reason I've been following Joint so closely. If they get her, they are top 4 with us, Georgia and Stanford.
It's crazy they rank the freshmen now without even stepping foot on campus. Joint ranked #67 and Bower #104(or something like that)

Agree. Objectively she's the clear #1. Doesn't mean she won't lose a few, but she should be touring the world and playing every grand slam. Not college matches.

Looked at UNCs roster…,, they are not going to be the UNC of the past. Def a top 10 team, but they are weak. Their #6 player won't be one that should be competing for a natty. They need a player or two to really compete
very true, although a healthy brantmeier can beat anyone in the country. Tanguilig, evans and rabman round out a very good top 4. They can beat teams better than them but i think might loose a couple more f matches because of inconsistency in those spots.

A couple of newer articles. Apparently she's taking online courses and still touring. She's almost guaranteed a wildcard to the Aussie Open if she doesn't qualify on ranking. That's another $100K+ to turn down.
