Does that mean two teams are leaving?
F1 has slots for 12 teams. Back in the early 90s there were more and they held prequalifying to narrow the field down beforehand.
That sounds cool

An acquisitions company headed by CART Indycar champion and former Formula 1 driver Michael Andretti is understood to be pursuing a takeover of Sauber, which runs Alfa Romeo's team.
RaceFans has learned Andretti is closing on a deal to buy 80% of shares in Islero Investments at a price of 350 million (296.86m), putting it in control of the Sauber Motorsport and Sauber Engineering divisions.
Andretti formed the Andretti Acquisition Corporation in March with a target of raising at least $250 million (183.49m) through an initial public offering. However a spokesperson for the acquisition corporation told RaceFans it is not involved.

That was a pretty entertaining race. Good change of pace from the normal who makes the undercut best wins strategy.
Ham usually annoys me but I think he was right. At worst he would've finished where he did without a stop I think.
Vet and Aston just going full send onto slicks was the best lap of the race.
Ferrari and McLaren the rest of the season will be interesting. Think Ferrari has an advantage at COTA if McLaren was struggling with the medium length corners this weekend.

Hearing a renewal is in the works as the demand for Austin has been nuts this year. Expecting 360k. Some more after parties soon to be announced with big guests attached too.
