I've thought the same thing... just wondering about what would happen in a potential worst-case scenario for Tiger. Not that I want that.
I think he misses the cut again. I don't think he'll finish dead last again. His short game is atrocious. But long game isn't accurate either.
I actually had a thought yesterday, for the first time ever, that Tiger and Butch might get back together. Before that, I had agreed with the rest of you that it would never happen. But I have this funny feeling now.
I think Tiger has changed and has more humility now, and not necessarily because he's not playing well. I don't think pride or ego is as much of a factor anymore....just my opinion. Does Butch? Dunno. I guess it will be up to the guys in Butch's stable to approve an arrangement if it goes that far. Will they? My guess is they will, albeit some of them reluctantly.
Again, just a hunch. And I could be very wrong.

How on earth is it that he could spend so much time practicing and not know that it isn't right?

That's a complete guess. He took nearly 6 months off and still isn't right

I haven't noticed it as much as before. His initial grimace definitely didn't look like it was due to poor play. It definitely looked like pain in my opinion
Well it sounds like after that first bad chip his short game has been... okay, I guess? Not awful?
So far his irons are the only thing that's been dreadful
The par 5s on the north should be pretty good scoring chances... 520 for the pros is almost just a long par 4.
