Mu Goes Gold: Aggie phenom tops Women's 800m medal stand in Tokyo

On Tuesday night in Tokyo (early Tuesday morning in Texas), 19-year-old phenom Athing Mu claimed Olympic gold in the women's 800m, posting an amazing 1:55.21 in the final. Mu's first Olympic moment comes after a record-setting freshman season at Texas A&M in 2021.
