Ok folks, I got this. I'll pitch to him.
Did he hit another one or are you thinking back to the 3 run shot earlier?Wabs said:
Why oh why pitch to Cags......that one very dumb mistake may cost NC State their season.

Was that a strike?
If not, it was pretty close. Nothing egregious.AggieBiker said:

ACC teams guaranteed to be the first 3 teams out.
Good thing they kept those 2 challenges. They can think about them on their trip home.AggieBiker said:
I have a greater conviction that the play would not have been overturned. It's a one run game and could easily go to extra innings so I won't assume there are only two to play. I will grant you that you are more likely to get an ump review in late in a tight game if you are out of challenges so you could more correct than me based on that but I just did not see enough objection from the player to use a challenge and I think it would have been wasted so that is no better than leaving in your pocket in a game you ultimately lose by one run. Just my opinion based on how I look at risks and the probability of success with the challenge. The main thing I disagree with you on is that it is inherently dumb. I think it doesn't have to be dumb or smart either way.
