And I *loathe* the heat. I accepted it as a fact of summer growing up, but then I visited Mt. Crested Butte, CO in July 1985 and realized I didn't have to live that way.

I always love going places in the summer with nice summer weather. Don't want to live where it commonly gets brutally cold. Like an occasional dusting of snow that looks pretty but does not ice up the roads.
If you get the days of the week/dates wrong it is hard to blame it on spell check. As it is I'm too reliant on spell check..Agdad081216 said:

I think it would be interesting to dig into the economics of Charles Schwab Field. I find it odd that they replaced Rosenblatt with a park that isn't the home of the Storm Chasers. I understand why the team wouldn't want to play in a park as large as CSF, but I can't imagine how the stadium survives with Creighton as its only tenant (that I'm aware of).

Home of Creighton and a 25 year contract with the CWS through 2035 to keep them from looking elsewhere. Maybe not a great deal on it's own but if that's what it took to keep the CWS it was 1000% worth it.
I think initially it was also supposed to be the Omaha AAA team's park also.
B1G has its Baseball Tournament there. Not sure of anything else besides Creighton baseball. Maybe the Huskers play a game or two there over the course of a season?
