As an assistant absolutely.

I don't really think Bucky ball can work at the power conference level. I'd be pretty skeptical if that is the route we go.DDowl44 said:
Bucky ball! So many people we're whining about our offense style why not go with a system that scores over 80 pts regularly
3.5 million dollar buyout and he makes $5 million/year.theloneranger said:The newer source says Trev has already been told by boosters “go get Chris Beard” and that Trev plans to oblige.

Unless A&M refuses to match Ole Miss collective $ or the A&M president or some higher up says either “no Longhorns” or “no woman chokers” we expect this to happen. https://t.co/crFDUjhi5I
Inject this straight in my veins. Let's WIN
I'm on board with it, even if Bill never shows up to a game.Pichael Thompson said:
What about Luke Murray?
We'd have the legend of all legends in the stands at every game
Hiring an assistant with no HC experience is a risk, but this is an instance where I'd be on board with it. We would have to ensure we are willing and able to cut bait quickly if it is obviously not working after 2-3 years.themissinglink said:I'm on board with it, even if Bill never shows up to a game.Pichael Thompson said:

Good recruiter and very involved in the UCONN offense.
Plus, for Trev, probably cheaper and easier to hire than a sitting head coach.

We've been half joking about Bill Self but I'd at at least put in a call up there and see what the vibe is. That situations has kind of a Calipari feel to it where maybe both sides are over it.

Wouldn't be my first choice, but wonder if we give Mike Brey a call
I don't know why this would be the case. Yes, we need to be careful about our spending, but it also makes financial sense to invest money into men's basketball. It actually has the potential to make money.zooguy96 said:
Prepare to be disappointed. Trev is going to cost cut, unless donors give $$.

Hiring some no-name and going for multi-year rebuild could actually cost more in loss of tickets, donations, etc. than hiring a guy that can fire up the fan base right away.
Can't really credit the almost Stoops hire to Alberts when Bjork was still the AD.zooguy96 said:bobinator said:I don't know why this would be the case. I'm just basing this off of what he's done. Early - no HC experience. Almost hired Stoops - a "C" level coach. We settled for a B-
He's not instilling confidence based on the hires he's made so far.

Earley wasn't a mistake last year. Keeping Earley after this year will be a mistake.
I thought the same briefly but Kentucky to Arkansas is not the same as Kansas to A&M. Arkansas has made the sweet 16 in 4 of the past 5 years.bobinator said:
