On3 for ole Miss also said most of this is rumors driven by Billy lucci confidence, they have had a pay increase on beards desk, they are not worried at all but will update if anything changes

Our fans bashed the hell outta Buzz after going 11-7 in league play and 1-1 in the Dance. Porter Moser goes 6-12 in league play and sent home after game 1 in the Dance and people want him coaching us. That tells you all you need to know about our basketball fanbase. My God.

This would not be surprising at all. A&M goes after a coach very publicly, coach gets a raise and further commitment at his current program, we're forced to move on and the hire we do make seems lackluster in comparison to a large portion of our fans.

He'll want to be because he's going to get fired at OU next year if he has another average to below average season. Outside of the two stellar years at Loyola, his resume is bleak.

I said this in another thread, how big does the offer have to be that OM wouldn't match? With all the money that the players are now making coaching salaries seem on the low side.

That's probably because Texas A&M Big 3 sports rarely has any. Not saying I agree with his take. I'd take Beard in a heartbeat.
