Castle put up a good fight. I thought his first dunk in the finals should have been a 50. McClung is an incredible dunker.

Mac clearly uses the prop person to vault higher. Sure he's good but those dunks don't require a huge amount of skill. Whatever, Steph is a 100 times better player.

I know it's a homer take, but... I mean come on. Maclung is 6'2" and even with a slight vault assist he's way up there in the air and executes his dunks on the first try everytime. He's done and won the contest three straight years so he pretty much has to do prop and gimmick dunks since he's done all pretty much every dunk he probably can.
Short guys will always have an advantage in the dunk contest because of how amazing it looks to see them fly.

Mac is a great entertainer for it for sure. But he also hasn't scored a point in the NBA in two seasons.

Agreed we could argue over whether he should be participating, but since he is in the contest, you have to give credit to him for coming up with and executing some great and creative dunks.

I'll be very surprised if Castle doesn't start on Thursday and if his mins don't increase to 25+. It's going to be very interesting to see if it's Vassell or Paul going to the bench. The whole league sees the type of player Castle is. If Mitch continues with the same lineups, it's clear we are doing one last soft tank.

As long as it doesn't portend anything for future seasons, then not that big a deal, and you can argue tanking might still be the best thing for the future of the franchise. But I wanted to see him Castle, and Fox building chemistry with a view towards next season.

Man that really sucks and I'm just hoping he is okay. As much as I would be devastated as a Spurs fan if his career is cut short and this isn't isolated, he is an intelligent, driven, and humble young man and he will provide immense value in whatever his next avenue is. Through his short time here I have become a fan of his as a human being as much as I have of him as a player.
Damn. Got my son tickets to see him for Xmas. The game was in 3 weeks over spring break.
