I don't care much whether he returns to the sideline, although he's still one of the better coaches and his track record leads to instant buy-in from new Spurs. I just hope he gets his health back to where he doesn't have significant loss of quality of life.
If he can get back to full effectiveness on the sideline for another season or two, even better. It's hard to see him still being on the bench for peak-Wemby, regardless.

From what I've heard this release is wholly papering over the situation. They are sugar coating it calling it mild and don't expect him back anytime soon
