I know... I found myself wanting a win during the game. Even with only PJ, Exum, and Martin back, the team is probably just good enough to make the play in. If Gafford can come back in 2 weeks then they are definitely in.

We just have no idea on the severity of AD's injury and if it's better for him to have surgery. No idea on Gafford. We really don't know much about Martin's injury. There isn't any point in going for the play in if Kyrie may have a back injury. It's just such a weird spot right now.

This group of guys is really fun to root for though. Naji, PJ, and Christie are all so fun. Klay is having a good time out there. Obviously Kyrie is a freaking hero.

Again with the unfunny memes. Grimes was going to walk this offseason for nothing and make more than Martin makes. It was a prudent move. Martin also turned 29 in September.

Twitter is so dumb. Philly also lost to a terrible team and Grimes was minus 3. Y'all are going to hang on every individual performance or every single Luka pass and post them here. Meanwhile you have no idea the actual basketball context of anything.

They're in such a weird spot right now. Two weeks ago they had the best roster in Mavs history and were defending conference champs. Led by a top 3 player in the league who is 25 with a team that they spent two years building around. With an entire city in love with the whole thing. Now we're waiting to see if oft-injured 32 year old AD needs season ending surgery to figure out if the season/future is ruined.

Such a weird spot, it's so weird. Awesome win tonight though! #MFFL

Mavs just pulled out a great win, drastically undermanned and we got the usual suspects posting Luka highlights in a loss that he was -19 and Grimes stat lines in a loss that he was -5. Such a beating.

You're missing the point of my post. No one is happy about the trade. I think you're drastically underselling Christie though. At the end of the day, the only thing that will matters is championships. If the Mavs don't win one in the next few years it's a failure. With the way the Lakers roster is currently structured I don't see how they even win a playoff series anytime soon. We'll see.
