The fight was unreal. Every time we came back to within 1-4, Billups would call timeout and immediately get the lead back up to 10ish.

This is the worst officiating crew in the sport. They will make really ticky tacky calls then pick weird times to swallow the whistle. The woman is awful but the two guys aren't much better.

Such a bummer to be winning the whole game except for the last 5 minutes and hand it away. Just didn't play well in the last 15 minutes.

I have no idea why they can't use common sense and just review that. It shows the NBA cares more about following arbitrary rules than getting calls right and deciding games properly.

My suggestion for years is to have 4 refs at every game. The 4th ref is back in a booth with a replay feed and can change a call anytime or stop the game if there is something really egregious. There is no reason not to have this. NBA Basketball is by far the hardest sport to ref, so why not make it easier on everyone and show a commitment to accuracy?

Right now the replay system is idiotic. You can use a challenge and if you are right, you get one more challenge. If you are wrong, you lose a timeout. If the refs **** up again, you can use your challenge again, but right or wrong, you lose a timeout. Why penalize a team by making them lose a timeout for the refs blowing a call? It is idiotic.

A replay ref in the booth able to change calls in real time would also take WAY less time than the game stoppage with all the refs going to the scorer's table and trying to squint at a 15" monitor to see who's hand it went off of.

That's a good idea. It's similar to the replay assist the NFL started using in the past few years.

Is there anybody who has disliked the replay assist in the NFL? Of course not. Would make too much sense for the NBA to do this.

Similar idea. Also the NBA already assigns 4 refs to playoff games in case one pulls a hamstring or something. They have a 4th guy hanging out in the back, probably playing on FanDuel.

I don't like the idea of giving Gafford up, especially with how reckless lively is with his body and in and out of the lineup on the regular. It's been such a luxury to have 2 good bigs and rim protectors
