I read that the Saudi contingent has been in DFW for much of the World Cup learning from the host committee here.
One of their big concerns is getting the stadiums built. They're planning on using 15 stadiums. 10 of them haven't been built yet and the other 5 need to be renovated as well

Holy crap that MAX-ENG game was wild and frenetic and total chaos. And loud.
Kudos to the ref actually for controlling that pretty well.
Two penalty kicks, one straight red card, MEX outshot ENG 20 to 6 with the man advantage over the last 36+12 minutes. Mex dominated possession too of course. Brilliant defending by ENG.
Deserved red card too - Quansah went in studs up and not even for the ball it appeared and could have easily gotten ball. Then the ball made his leg elevate and he caught him with the exposed cleats. Dumb move. Thankfully it did not cost ENG. Amazingly the penalty on MEX came shortly after and gave ENG a 3-1 lead but a penalty the other way (also deserved) gave MEX a penalty shot and narrowed it to 3-2.

Right then... predictions for the Quarter Final winners....
Mine are France, Belgium, England, Argentina. Maybe no surprises there other than Belgium perhaps. All the games will likely be fairly tight however.

Outcome I fear - France, Spain, Norway, Argentina

Come on Spain and England. But I fear France and Argentina. Not that they arent good too. Just want a new winner.
ok so the Semi-Finals are set. A bit unfortunate for Belgium Tielemans injury in the warm up. That's like Marcel picking up a sprain 30 minutes before playing Georgia!
None the less we move on.... The semi-finals are too close to call. One thing is clear however, teams with the stand out difference making players are there.... Mbappe and Olise, Kane and Bellingham, Messi and Alvarez. Spain have an overall very strong team but have not really seem the same "dynamic duos" . Gives France the edge but could go 1-0 either way. England vs Argentina predict a shoot out....3-2 one way or the other. Both stronger going forward than defending. Could it finally be "coming home" , with Hey Jude's wonderwall....best chance since 1990.....
