If you want to go down a super fun rabbit hole, look for videos of the tartan army taking over Fenway tonight. They walked to the stadium behind bagpipes, and went full party mode for three hours. And after the game they were still under the bleacher singing.

Last night Tunisia "played" some shockingly bad defense. So bad that the manager is supposedly being fired today. Considering how well their neighbors Morocco played vs. Brazil, it's almost not surprising. Shades of what Saudi Arabia did in 2002.

Gotta be the most shocking result so far. 5-1 oof.

Tunisia knocked off France in 2022 and tied Denmark and lost a close match to AUS. And they are ranked 45th but Sweden is only 38th. Shoud have been a close match.

It's more shocking than the 7-1 Germany score against Curacao thats was 10th vs 82nd and their WC debut.

Looking at their results now for the last year or so they looked great in WC qualifying but it was a very weak group with no other WC caliber teams. Since they have been very average in Arab Cup (1-1-1 and did not advance) and African Cup (1-2-1) against non WC competition.

Dallas is an incredible setting for this tournament, minus the heat. "Dallas Stadium" is simply unmatched in terms of event infrastructure and unlike anything on this planet. Sure, there are incredible stadiums around the nation, but nothing like the complex here. To have 3 stadiums in close walkable proximity, Texas Live, other concert venues, bars and restaurants, world class hotels, etc. is truly unique on this planet. I can't imagine seeing anything but praise for any of the nations playing here. The Japanese and Dutch fans all looked in awe yesterday.

Amazing job by Cape Verde defense not fouling. I dont think they fouled a Spain player in the last 35 minutes of the game.

Are all US Jerseys rocking the 4 stars?


Would y'all wear it? Seems like counting the women's victories on the men's shirts is a little disingenuous.

Stars on a world cup kit represent FIFA World Cup Championships.

Egypt had stars on their kit this year representing their African Championships and FIFA made them change it. Brazil's kit has five stars on it this year.


Looks like yours has 4 stars for the women's world cup wins

I believe this year's kits are shared between the men and the women - not always the case. You can get a USWNT jersey for a man, I own several (Ertz, Rodman, Lavelle). They have stars. I own more with no stars, though, some with USMNT player names, some blank.

I do understand that this kit is going to be generally associated with the men because it's their WC home kit, and the stars could cause some confusion.
