Can not score the 2nd goal nor score an open play goal. No words for that Salah penalty. But the lads have been uber aggressive with passion and intensity and by far the better team.

Yet only 1-0 at half....

Need that second goal early on in the second half.

The players look up for it, Anfield and the Kop seem up for it. Slot looks like he cares on the sideline.

Slot brought some Klopp-level energy on the sidelines today. It's almost like he watched videos of Jurgen for inspiration before the match. I hope he keeps it up. We look like a much better squad when we play with emotion.... especially at Anfield. His symbolic leadership will be important in maintaining that standard.

Looked like Slot took a gummy before the game LOL. Fun match! So much more fun when we are pushing for goals instead of passing it back and forth outside the box. Galatasaray had no interest in that after the half. Still criminal with the subs. Ran the entire midfield and Ekitike for 88' minutes with the 6:30am Saturday kickoff. Makes me think Slot is only focused on FA cup and CL.

If Slot sticks with the same lineup/style as he did Wednesday, Gakpo will at least be up top with Ekitike rather than out wide. It doesn't help from a pressing perspective, but at least Gakpo won't be on an island on the LW. I would tell Gakpo I am putting you next to Ekitike and playing Wirtz behind you, so don't effing move. Take up space, play the channel, hold the ball up etc. but do not venture into midfield and DO NOT venture to the LW. Boom problem solved.
