Hot take: Endo is actually a pretty bad player at this level.

Welp we just lost Leoni for a good while.

Ekitike might just be the dumbest player known to man-kind. Did he do that on purpose in order to get the red so he doesn't have to play the next game to make a statement? That's immediately what I thought.

So now we're down Leoni for god knows how long, and Ekitike for the weekend. Great.

The yellow card for a shirt removal is one of the dumbest rules in sports. That being said, Ekitike should know better.

That felt intentional the way he held up his jersey too....I don't' like that that one bit. Are you pissed off we signed Isak that much?

For those that couldn't watch, Ekitike picked up a dumb yellow for throwing the ball away right after he came on. Then he scored the go ahead winner and proceeds to IMMEDIATELY take off his jersey and shows the back of it to the crowd in almost a "I'm the No. 9 you want". Leoni also got stretched off. I feel disgusted after that game.

I don't think Hugo got a red to send a petulant message. I think it's more likely that he is young and randomly makes very stupid decisions. For example, look at his hair....

If he is angry that Isak is cutting into his time, getting a red card won't help. Isak will get the start this weekend and now Chiesa will get the supporting role. Chiesa had an incredible game and consistently makes good things happen for our squad. If Hugo isn't careful, he will start losing minutes to both of them.

That said, there is no reason to turn on him after one bad decision. The kid has been absolutely amazing till this point. I'm sure Arne has said the right thing to get through to Hugo (because Arne always says the right thing) and I trust Hugo will grow from this experience.

I didn't watch the game, but seeing the highlight I thought it was kind of humorous. He is still young and maturing, doubt he does that again.

Only really lasting feeling from that game is the Leoni injury. Hopefully not a season ender.

I definitely overreacted, but I just don't like the visual of him taking the shirt off, then holding up the back of his own jersey in the most obvious "look at me" moves I've seen in some time. When Mo Salah or Gakpo have taken off their shirts it's been one part to show how absolutely shredded Mo is, or for Gakpo to display his message that he's a Christian and follower of Jesus Christ. Mo also just takes the kit off and waives it around out of excitement to get the crowd going. This one really peeved me, not only because he got the second yellow and will miss this weekend, but also just the visual. He is young, albeit 23 and not that young, but I'll leave it there.

The next thing that needs to be said is Chiesa needs more minutes. He was unbelievable yesterday. I don't care if it comes at RW/LW or Striker. He needs to be on the field more. I personally would play him over Gakpo right now.

Thats a really tough outcome for the team and the player. He had such a promising debut, only to have to start all over again next year. Hope he comes back stronger.

Definitely need to buy another CB in January. Might need to have Kerkez run over Glasner this weekend in order to secure Guehi.

I'm devastated for the kid. He was UNREAL yesterday. Getting the first start at one of the world biggest clubs and 100% was the plan for a starting CB when VVD decides to call it a career, and now he's hitting reset in a WC year. The only bright side is that recovering from these types of ligament injuries as a teenager is a whole lot easier on the body than it is someone who is 30+.

This attack has absolutely no plan at the moment. It's slow, sloppy, and lacks any pace.

So rest of the game is to hopelessly try to breakdown a low block and pray we don't get smoked on a counter.

Bradley and Allison the only bright spots. Forgot Isak, Salah and Wirtz are in the lineup.

CP has had like 20% possession and could easily be up 5-0. In scoring chances and our box so easily.

That was honestly one of if not the worst half of football I've seen them play in a long time.
