Never seen an implosion like this. Fair or not, Slot won't survive or recover from this. Not just on him, poorly constructed team and effort all the way around.

Mental midgets. Just nothing. Heads drop immediately after any adversity. No fight. So little effort on the pitch and whining and flailing about blaming others. It's truly pathetic.

At this point I don't even know how they fire him and what they do. I think he needs to be gone pretty much asap, but what's the plan after that? They need to improve…and I don't know how besides going full bore into rebuild and bringing in even more players in January.

We don't have any depth at the moment with so many players injured. Both RBs injured has been costly to us as that is usually one of the creative outlets for us. As far as the centre of defence, it's time to bench Konate. He continues to be a liability and makes SO many mental errors. The only reason VvD doesn't get benched is we literally have no other healthy CBs and putting Endo or Gravenberch their is a disservice to them. Robbo has been the only bright spot in the back four for me. Kerkez is being left out to dry as him and Gakpo make the same runs.

Gravenberch would be a world class No. 8 along with Szoboszlai but we have to play both out of position. We have been crying out for a No.6 for like 3-4 years now.

Salah is a small shadow of his former self. I still think a great player is in there and without Elliott, he is the only attacking left footed player we have. Ekitike is the only one that has played somewhat like a Liverpool player. Isak's greatest quality is running in behind defenders but everyone plays such a low block against us, he has no room to operate. The fact that he has not had a game where he has touched the ball more than 20 times is abysmal. A 125M GBP player should have more than that to offer.

Poor squad construction, sad and untimely Jota passing, and leaders ghosting have cost us this season and will likely now cost Slot his job. He should have enough goodwill in the bank, but I fear he may have lost the locker room.

I'm not sure firing Slot will fix anything, but it's the easiest thing to do at this point.

I think you fire him and embrace a complete overhaul and rebuild of this team. Go out and get two or three more players in January, and play the guys you spent money on. Figure it out from there.

I think Salah is 100% cooked and is one of the main (if not the main) reasons we have been so poor.

A good example popped up at the beginning of the second half. Szobo, Gakpo and Hugo were pressing high and tight and almost forced a turnover. The ball found its way to the GK, who made a very simple pass to the LB, who then skipped right past a jogging Salah. The press literally disintegrated when the ball reached the left back. Salah doesn't press nor does he track back...he just kinda jogs around hoping to get the ball in transition. The only problem with that strategy is that Mo has no burst and any average LB can easily lock him up on the break.

For the 2nd goal, Salah again let the LB walk right past him with the ball, and then didn't follow him. The LB had all day to pick the perfect pass, which he did.

Slot needed to bench Mo weeks ago and has refused. Meanwhile, Chiesa runs his ass off but lives on the bench. If they do fire Slot, they need to bring in someone with big enough balls to reward industry over legacy.

That's probably the best we can hope for at this point.

I'd like to see us go back to a pure 4-3-3 as well. No double pivot.

Oh and bring Klopp back on an interim basis until the end of the season. I'd take Gerrard till the end of the season for gosh sakes.

Weird to see us kind of park the bus after the Isak goal. D was outstanding though.

Was the most important result of the year. They went to a pretty back to basic type of set up and plan and it worked well enough.

Wirtz to Gakpo to Isak for his first goal was so nice. Gakpo with a great game too obviously

I think Gakpo is a great player, I just don't want him as the widest man on the left side. If Kerkez can provide consistent width and allow Gakpo to settle in around the 18 yard box then he's very dangerous, but if you need him to provide width that ain't it.

They went vanilla today and pretty much just let the guys be creative, and it worked.

Why the h*ll has he not been playing Joe at RB this whole time? Nonsensical to play Szobo and Curtis there when you have a veteran defender sitting on the bench. To me, that one move and benching Mo is the first correct string he's pulled all season.

I think it's strictly because Gomez is now our only true backup option at CB, but after today I think you kinda have to throw that out the door and play him until January.

Salah on the bench again. Looks like Slot grew a pair. I thought for sure he was going to cave and put him back in the starting 11. A win today could quell some of the cries for his dismissal. Hopefully he's got it right today.

I think his time at Liverpool as a full-time starter are done, and they are tired of his schtick. Which on one hand is a good thing because we'll play better, but on the other means he's big salary dead weight and we'll need another forward.

I think he can still be an amazing supersub. There are times when he looks like the old Mo for 15-20 minutes a game, but never for a full 90.

Hopefully Arne can convince him to embrace the role.
