My guess is that we either aren't gonna pursue anyone in Jan that can make an impact or aren't feeling good about being able to get someone better than Fabio. He's not an ideal option but he can play RW but he also provides CM depth so Nwaneri can spend time at W.

I wouldn't get your hopes up for a major replacement in January. Best bet is a Trossard level player on loan to help platoon on the wings. I just don't see it as financially possible for us to make a big move in the winter window. Everyone knows we're desperate and the price tags will reflect that
Will it matter much what we do in January? It's hard to see this Liverpool team have the 3 more bad games than Arsenal that Arsenal require to win the title, even if Arsenal add a big name.

If Liverpool ends up with 100+ points, we should just shake their hands tell them congratulations. It sucks but that is pretty much out of our hands.
