yep. lots of solid skill but he kind of has the same issues as Sambi, just takes too long on the ball. long term I think he is far better off in Spain, Italy or Germany.
He's also just insanely slow. He makes Partey and Jorginho look like Olympic Track stars

Williams would be interesting. Potential issue there is (a) while the transfer fee will be lower his salary demands would make him one of the highest paid on the squad and (b) he would demand starter minutes and even in a down year last year Marti scored more goals than Williams in his breakout season.
I wouldn't be upset by a Williams acquisition but I'm not convinced he would be the best acquisition.

I will say that I now feel like our team is deep enough to win something other than the FA Cup this year. It's still going to be really difficult but I'll be disappointed if we don't win something barring some bizarre, unpredictable reason.

Think this significantly increases the chances we bring in someone that can play RW. Vieira spent the entire preseason playing RW. Mikel was trying to figure out if he could be a viable Saka backup or if we needed to move him on.
