We sold Schurrle for 30, loaned Salah out, but we pay his wages. THINK we paid 35 for Cuadrado, not competently sure.

All of this plus the Bertrand move and our books are balanced. Hate to see Bertrand go. He was a surprise selection in the starting XI when The Chelsea won the CL Final against Bayern.

Is Cuadrado that much better than Schurrle (at least when he was in last season's form)? Serious question cause I've only see Cuadrado at the WC

Also, who's starting spot is he going to take, Oscar, Willian (is he even an every match starter)?

I'd say Willian. Leave Oscar in the middle and keep Hazard/Cuadrado on the flanks.

Willian is nothing more than a super sub at this point...

Can Cuadrado compete in the champions league? If not I think Chelsea might have sold themselves out of that competition especially if Wilian sees little playing time.

I thought Schurrle was a great player for Chelsea in his style of play and lethal finishing on the break. I read that Cuadrado was brought on to help Chelsea beat the little teams that park the bus but not sure how he will do in the counter role against the big boys (admittedly he could be great because of his pace)
