No. Burnley should have been down to 10 in the first half. That challenge was a straight red everyday of the week.

Matic lost his cool and deserved a straight red, no questioning that. But this match has been called very poorly since the start. Had that not been the case then Chelsea would still have 11 on the pitch and Matic wouldn't miss the League Cup Final.
Trevas and I are not suggesting the send off was unjust, but more so that the entire situation could have been avoided if we had a competent official.
