A dollar to a donut it wasn't an Aggie fan, and certainly not an alumnus.

My guess is it was a rival fan and it's accomplishing exactly what they hoped it would.

99% of people will take that letter for what it is, the insignificant work of a pathetic piece of trash and not give it any more thought.

Who--or, actually, WHAT--is this letter hurting? Sure, it is hateful and I would not want KDS or his family to get that from anyone who meant it. Can we be sure that it was really sent from a racist Ag, or should we be suspicious that it is a False Flag raised to cause us to drop legitimate criticism? I have read lots of threads since Sunday night, and my take is that 90% of those were that we lost because the coaches abandoned what worked in the 1st half, and, indeed, continued to work in the 2nd half--running the football--and turned to what did not work at all, attempting to pass the ball while not burning clock in the process. Those are valid criticisms, though some--the other 10%--would fault the Defense. Whichever is correct has nothing to do with race.

I am sorry that we are even talking about this. If the letter is legitimate, it is despicable. If it is an effort to deflect from the real issue, it is far more despicable. In any case, we should distinguish the two. To criticize--legitimately--a highly paid coach for game day decisions is not racist.

4 has made a really important observation...I don't think that letter was delivered by the usps. That stamp has no postage mark on it. The bar code on the envelope could be a reused envelope. What does it all mean?

Wouldn't surprise me a bit if Buzbee's Facebook rant contributed substantially to Sumlin's decision to go public with this.
