Considering all the publicity lately, someone being let go here is "big news" because it's perceived as negative. As for the OC hire to one later, the national media won't bat an eyelash.

I can't wait for the day that a recruit comes forward and says, I wanted to commit to A&M but I read a bunch of fans on TexAgs thought their coach was incompetent. Any truly negative crap being put into the kid's heads is from the opposing recruiter.

I'd say with some degree of certainty that the announcement of Hyman being done will be conducted tomorrow and that the hiring of Mazzone would be done in the near future. Most confident in the former for the record. Don't see why that one would stay under wraps longer than the nearly 15 hours since it was decided.

AD firings have been linked to two of our head coaching changes, but those were very different circumstances. Hyman didn't hire Sumlin.
