going back to a discussion from a couple of weeks ago...

there have been 4 traffic deaths in the past 4 days in Houston

none of them will be recorded as homicides -- although criminal activity may have been involved -- but all these accidents contribute to the city's reputation as dangerous / under siege

Speaking of gas stations, and The Heights, anyone remember that OG gas station run by two swole tatted up vietnamese bros at NE corner of White Oak and Studewood? Can't remember if it was a Texaco or Phillips 66 or what, but they had a punching bag hanging behind the counter and looked like the type of old school Alief Asian bangers you didn't want to F with.

Later suspicions were confirmed when they shot a man who was trying to steal from them.
