I went once to Pico's, probably within a year of it opening at Richmond and Kirby. Orderd the suizas and I could not believe how awful they were. It was like they dumped chilled applesauce over them right before serving.

I have heard nothing but pretty "meh" things from coworkers over the years, but the place seems to have quite a few fans on here. What is the thing to get there? It is going to be just down the street from my office so may go give it one more shot.

I've got the wife's 40th bday coming up. Besides the Aquarium/Wheel of Fortune, what are the best restaurants inside BW8 to be looking at? With the kids, we don't get out much these days and most of my knowledge on the dining scene is outdated. Last time we went out for an upscale location was Bludorn almost 2 years ago.

Can never go wrong with Porta Vino and a damn good wine for a fraction of what you'd pay for it at a typical restaurant.

I saw on social media that the owner of Viola and Agnes said he has heard the criticisms (I'm assuming of long waits) and had decided to fix that by … closing the current location and moving to a smaller venue. The guy is a great cook, but definitely not a business person.
