Agas #1 and while I can't say for sure its the best as I haven't been to every restaurant, I can say its easily my personal favorite. This past week I took a group of clients there all of whom had never been and they absolutely loved it and said they'd add it to their restaurant rotation.

Came over from Bryan and took my 80 plus year old parents to Chez Nous in Humble tonight.

First time I have been in 30 plus years.

That's a damn fine meal.

So apparently this place isn't paying their employees, some of which are out front protesting today. Maybe give it is miss. They may not last a month.

Marquis now allows you 3 LITs. Knowing how dangerous they are, I found that interesting.

I think they did back in the mid-90s, too. 3 LITs led to a couple of really sketchy decisions, from what I've been told.

love that place - don't leave any valuables in your car though. I'm still finding pieces of glass in my truck cab from my last trip there

valet if they have it over street parking.

I had a hunch this was coming based on the frequently changing menu and posts on social media asking for people to come when they were having slow days. I was excited for them to move over to a bigger space but location is king in this business and with the Boardwalk still in development I'm sure they never got the foot traffic they hoped for.

I live in the neighborhood and never went to Mutiny. It looks nice - but just never comes up as an option. Not sure exactly why other than it doesn't fit the neighborhood vibe.

it wasn't bad, but nothing to write home about. I think the owners live right next door, so maybe trying a new concept?

We'd only been to Mutiny 2 or 3 times. Basically stopped going when we had kids.

I thought the food was good. But the wine was the best part, IMO. The owner also owns/co-owns? a Napa vineyard so you can get their wines at great prices. And better by the glass options and prices than almost any other place.

Had Superica just fallen off?

Hadn't been there in a while as it never quite made our Mexican rotation. It was good but never grabbed me.

Seems Alma is getting bigger so wondering if that pulled some from Superica.

We still went to Superica every now and then and it was always pretty busy. I liked it a lot - but it fell out of our regular rotation for some reason.

Never trust a realtor!

I think they do have the land but they've got the current tenants on MTM leases.

Hope it happens for the area, but by no means a sure thing.
