It was in Woodbridge; probably just wanted a little cash to tip the servers at Dot Coffee Shop.

"Investigators named 19-year old Victor Ramirez as the suspect who took Magwira's life. Ramirez was arrested in connection with the incident and granted a $500,000 bond."

Not to split hairs regarding a murderer, but did I miss where they explicitly said he was here illegally? I saw that he was an immigrant from Sudan and not a citizen, but that doesn't necessarily mean he was an illegal immigrant.Easy, Rod said:a Sudan illegal alien killed these three? Well, I don't think this kid's parents made it to the scene before the police and made sure the police knew how they should handle it. I am sure he was just an inexperienced driver who made a mistake.sts7049 said:
doubt this kid will be getting the Waller county treatment

The news agency needs to report the name of the judge in every one of these circumstances...especially Fox News.
I think the point was that if the news agencies would report the name of the judge who granted the bond each time they ran a story about a criminal committing new crimes, the public might start hearing the same names over and over and be less inclined to re-elect those judges. The number of people who are going to read the story and then go look up who it was on the clerk's website is going to be miniscule. The Wonderer said:TulaneAg said:

It's public info; you can look it up on HC District Clerk's website.

Not for lack of trying. At least the Sudanese kid can make a credible claim he didn't see the people he hit.W said:3 deaths vs. 0 deaths.sts7049 said:

um, you know...that is a fairly significant difference

Also on Sunday morning, an 18-year old woman was killed and three others were shot during a Halloween party on Schilder in north Houston. The family later confirmed that the 18-year-old victim was Aleksis Cantu. She is the daughter of Richard Cantu, who is a trustee for the Harris County Department of Education.

Sunday evening, police began investigating a road rage shooting that injured a father and 1-year-old. The father was shot multiple times and the child was grazed along the North Freeway, according to police. Both are expected to survive
couldnt say for sure on inside Houston city limits but one of the local stations mentioned last week that Harris County is over 600. I think it is more appropriate to show the whole county rather than just Houston due to the large population that lives outside of the janky ass city limits lines.ChemAg15 said:
What's the current body count?
Their interactive map appears to only be using HPD data, not HCSO or Constable data. So zip codes like 77084 where a good portion of the zip code is outside of Houston city limits will end up looking better than they actually are.Ferris Wheel Allstar said:
