im not sure if US marshals is new, but probably a year ago when one of these felons who was out on bond and never turned up for his ankle monitor killed someone, several articles mentioned that feds were helping the local cops round folks up, so it has been either on going or planned for a while, which is good. you have to think the cops think it is all an exercise in futility though.
The US Marshals' Task Force had been in existence for quite a while and they do a great job. Young guys who want to kick in doors and go after the real bad guys and often the violent bad guys.
Hopefully they take them to federal pmita prison and charge them for possession of a firearm by a felon or use of a firearm in a violent crime.

Well, I don't think this kid's parents made it to the scene before the police and made sure the police knew how they should handle it. I am sure he was just an inexperienced driver who made a mistake.sts7049 said:

I think the point was that if the news agencies would report the name of the judge who granted the bond each time they ran a story about a criminal committing new crimes, the public might start hearing the same names over and over and be less inclined to re-elect those judges. couldnt say for sure on inside Houston city limits but one of the local stations mentioned last week that Harris County is over 600. I think it is more appropriate to show the whole county rather than just Houston due to the large population that lives outside of the janky ass city limits lines.ChemAg15 said:

October numbers aren't out yet. Through end of Sept the total stood at 339, with a year end projection of 453.
