I think we bought SRO tickets in 05 for about $50 each.

400% increase in 16 years. I guess that's about 11% annualized.

I'm wondering how the Astros season ticket holder WS ticket purchase went? The Braves one was an absolute S**T show this morning.

The Braves emailed the code out to season ticket holders at 9:59AM for the 10AM on sale time. By 10:02, the code was all over twitter. Many season ticket holders (myself included) were not able to get their tickets to all three games as the inventory was cleared out and already relisted on ticket trading sites.

Regardless, its going to be a really fun, old school NL rivalry series. These two teams match up well and its going to make for some great baseball. Cant wait!

Im sure someone who actually went through it can clarify, but I think the Astros have you pre-register before the playoffs, then before a round goes on sale they email out individual codes and times in blocks to people who registered.
