I'm really hoping batch approvals start up again. Just bought a Rugged Oculus for my .22 bolt action CZ 457 and a Hyperion K for my SCAR. Might also pick up something for an AR.

One thing to note here is you can use your TWIC card for TSA precheck. So gov hounded you out of an extra 80 bucks there.

Well the replacement stamp for mine that was apparently lost in the shuffle made it to the seller today, so I am hopefully only about a week out from receiving it. Just for the record, they said it could be up to 45 days to get the replacement, but it was only 18 days from the time the request was sent.

eForm 1 approved for SBR yesterday
Submitted on 01/17/23
Mailed fingerprint card 01/20/23
Approved on 3/07/23

Still waiting on a second SBR submitted at the same time.
Over a month after the first approval and I'm still waiting on the second SBR, both submitted same day. Should I be calling at this point to see if there is some issue?
Did you ever get this resolved? I'm at ~75 days on an eForm 1, so thinking about calling to check.

Wow individual eform 4s really are quicker. I wonder if it's a case of ATF having same number of reviewers for each type of eform 4, and there's maybe less individual submittals which takes less time to get them out?

Got bored during meetings today and did some math from Reddit for this month. Trusts appear to be a month or so behind

100 each individual and trust.

INDIVIDUAL:

Avg: 244.8
Min: 76
Max: 308
Median: 247

TRUST
Avg: 270.7
Min: 66
Max: 305
Med: 277

Actually what takes the time is reviewing the trust documentation. A 4473 is a quick process. In theory, if you have had a trust with an approval within the antecedent 24 months, they shouldn't need to review the trust documents again. My personal experience does not support this though.

I didn't get that deep into it.

IIRC a user on Reddit said that there was an examiner that was only working trusts one day/week. So presumably if your form was in their stack it would take longer.

Also, re: multiple background checks:

If that were the case wouldn't a single RP trust be theoretically as fast as an individual?

I'm at 280 days for my single member trust.

Status is still pending which means it hasn't even been looked at yet.

I love that the official ATF wait time page (Current Processing Times | Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (atf.gov)) is now showing their processing time for the "newer and faster" efile system to be exactly the same as the paper applications for Form 4s. I just can't wait until they put all of our healthcare under the aegis of some government operated system. The efficiency and cost savings will be amazing, I am just sure of it.

That's why I was asking. I haven't looked at the times in a while since I have in the pipeline. Just a genuine question.

I looked again…. A quick scan makes it seem like there's not much difference between 1 and multiple RP.

And I wasn't trying to be an ass above. Sorry if it came off that way

Currently on day 86 for two eform1s submitted Jan 30th.

Non "amnesty", just regular eform1s.

Called and checked on them today, fingerprints arrived fine, forms look fine just waiting on the fbi background check.

Submitted a "tax free" eform1 for my 22 charger on 4/11 and received approval today. That was with uploading electronic fingerprints . I was just floating it out there, still hoping for an injunction before I decide what to do with my other braced pistols. Couldn't see paying a $200 stamp for a $300 gun.
