Trust here in Fburg a few months ago in 3 days. Things are a LOT shorter suddenly apparently. It was a trust and it's the only one I needed.
Those ATF approval minions got that DOGE in them all of a sudden.
I would imagine the demand has dropped because people are waiting until Jan 1 2026 to not pay the $200 tax

Got my latest can in two business days a month ago…and the owner said most everything is getting approved in 2 business days now. He didn't say if it was volume reduction or the administration or both.
We both agreed there would be a surge on Jan 1, and he said some people are trying to place orders now but wait to submit the application until Jan 1 so they won't have to wait for the actual unit to be available when the rush hits.

I do all my form 1's myself because it's super simple. When I do a form 4 I let the vendor I'm buying from do it.

This is exactly why I went ahead and submitted now. I know there's going to be a huge rush of applications submitted on January 1st and I didn't want to get caught up in that mess. I wanted a nice quick turnaround, so I just viewed it as paying a convenience fee to get a quicker review. Plus also not having to wait ~ 4 more months, just to submit it.
3 cans since early July on a Form 4 trust have all been approved in 2 days here. Will be crazy to see how bad the certification and approval logjam is come Jan 1:
-People deciding to jump into cans from square one
-People certifying form 4's on cans they've bought and had on hold
-People certifying form 4's to move cans from individual into a trust
-People certifying form 1's for sbr's and homemade cans
