We all knew this would happen. I know that doesn't change the fact that it's complete bull****, but we knew it would happen. I'm just hoping for bulk approvals on my April 15th e-file followed up with a recent submission.

Any recs for a laser engraving outfit in dfw? Have a couple lowers I need to get engraved. Couple big box gunsmiths I checked with are 2-3 weeks out

Have you checked with texas gun experience? Their gunsmith has some fast turn around times.

E-Form waits are going up. Seeing 180+ days on the August Reddit thread. Also, the ATF apparently approved fewer form 4's (both paper and e forms) over the previous 7 days than any other 7 day period. Usually they approve 3500-4k/wk and they did just over 2k last week (I think this data is just what is thru silencer shop).

At any rate, it wouldn't surprise me at this point if I don't see either of my cans till next year (5/6, 6/14 cert).


So much for 90 days lol

The whole suppressor purchase constraints are absolutely asinine. The purchaser is already permitted to have the gun which is the real potential for killing. A suppressor only reduces the report by about 25 decibels and is still very loud and in itself is no more dangerous than any object of similar weight that can be thrown….oh and their typically black, which makes them scary too.

The ATF has to approve before you do or you will receive a 1 year penalty. Already asked.

If my math is right, a 25 dB reduction is *only* a 316-fold decrease.

Finally! Paper Form4, Trust w/1 RP. 393 days from stamp cashed to approval. Still waiting on the dealer to receive the stamp. Today was 13 months so I decided to call and check the status. Approved 4 days ago. Still waiting on eform from mid March.
