So has anybody ever talked to a live person at ATF when they called the status update phone #? Or does it always roll to a voicemail box?

I have never gotten the automated machine, unless it was after hours or on Wednesdays when I believe they don't take calls.
Well ***** Just finally got through to them, and ATF had approved it over a year ago and the stamp never made it to the seller. Now I have to wait up to another 45 days while they request a replacement stamp.

Yeah, I wish I had called a long time ago. The crappy part is that I have no idea who is really at fault. Did ATF screw up and not send it out after the approval? Did the USPS not deliver the stamp to the seller? Di the seller receive it and screw up by not updating their records? At this point I am kind of mad at all of them, but also mad at myself for waiting until I was well outside of the "range" of approval dates before calling to check the status. I saw the atf dates on Capitol Armorys website just jumped into July 2022, I'm a end of June 2022 submittal and no word yet. I've tried the ATF number a few replies above a couple times this morning, and it rings once then just stays quiet.

I'm at 220 days. I called a few weeks ago and was told it is "pending". It hadn't even been assigned to examiner IIRC.
What's most frustrating is I had to do an FBI background check for a project at work a few years ago and it took like 2-weeks. A month later I got a TWIC card and my TSA Pre-Check done on a Friday at 2PM. I was told approval for the TWIC would be a month or so and the Pre-Check a couple of weeks.
I both the TWIC card and Pre-Check approval emails in my in-box the next day on Saturday morning!

On the Silencer Central website, they have a page that gives a range of dates they have pending and are seeing approvals from. As for HTF it is taking so long, ATF really doesn't want to give these approvals. So they take as long as they possibly can to do them because there is no legislative requirement that they do them faster. Also, their pistol brace ruling and free stamp policy for those has caused a flood of new applications to come in, slowing down all the EFile stuff that was moving relatively (for ATF) quickly prior to that.

They moved all the suckers who applied for the 'free' short barrels to the head of the queue too.
Help me, because I still haven't done anything... why are the "free" SBRs suckers? This is what I use as well. I don't look that much, only when I'm about 8 months out…so I'll check again in July for my 8.6 SBR and can. Just bought an SBS and another .22 can so those just started the sentence. May add a few more while I'm at it. Because **** the atf.

You need to call either ATF or your dealer. I submitted may 6th and was approved 2/1. A lot of people early Feb didn't get emails bc of an issue w the atf's system.
If I was you I would call your dealer and have them log into their eforms account and see if your approved form is there.
Or call the atf's NFA number and ask them
I'd be willing to bet that's approved and has been for 45+ days
